It seems like it's been a long time in the waiting but Design Event North East is finally upon us! For those of you that don't know much about the event why not check out Creative Review for a bit of an overview of this years happenings.
Over the past couple of months I've hooked up with the GnU organisation to work on their new publication and conversation without words. As part of this there is an exhibition showcasing the work from a number of creatives involved as well as the publication, this is also part of this years Design Event North east trail.
Last night saw the preview of the newly opened exhibition entitled 'Time and Place, Hither and Thither, War and Peace' which is at the Newcastle Arts Centre on Westgate Road. The Exhibition is open until 30th October 2010 and is well worth a mosey on down! For more info please check out the Design Event North East website
And that isn't the end. Coming next week there is another preview to be held in Middlesbrough (Pop-Up Gallery, Linthorpe Road) which is another aspect of the same project. For more info please see the Design Event North East website. Hope to see you there!
