Hello!
It's that time of year again. It's cold, it's dark and it's wet. Must be a british winter then! Oh how 'Bah Humbug' of me. The twinkling lights do more than make up for it though! I managed to get a glimpse of The Durham Light Festival a few weeks back. It was quite fabulous!
At this time of year there is no need to go to Blackpool to see the spectacle of brilliant displays, all I need to do is walk around my local area to see all the houses dressed for this festive occasion! It's a marvel to regard and I really must get my trusty DSLR out there before I'm too late! I recently visited The City Centre with my light grasping friend in-tow. I'm learning about shutter speeds, you see. So this is something else I will soon upload some examples of.
I've delivered my christmas cards and now its back to some hard work! My innate creative magpie tendencies have recently got me hooked on symmetrical imagery. I have attained the age-old retro tool that is The Spirograph. It's such a brilliant yet simple contraption and can produce some beautiful imagery. I've included one of my developments there. I'm sure there will be more to follow shortly!
Until then,
Enjoy the merriment of this fine season and I'll be back soon!
Take Care,
Lou x
